SUPERVISION & CASE PRESENTATION REQUIRED:

You are required to attend two (2) Group Supervision sessions and two (2) individual sessions to present your case conceptualization with Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand and/or Hamilton Von Wiegand, ERP Experts for the initial Certification in ERP (CERP). What to expect in supervision for certification:

Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand and Hamilton Von Wiegand, LPC really strive to create an open space for learning and growth. During supervision, you can expect valued resources, handouts, and other tools to help your ERP work with clients thrive. They give honest and respectful feedback to ensure each clinician gains a wealth of knowledge as to how to implement the most effective interventions for clients struggling with OCD and other anxiety disorders.
Throughout the course of your ERP certification journey, you are expected to receive a minimum of two individual supervision sessions with your supervisor ($225/session) and two group supervision sessions ($80/session). If you book all four sessions at once, you will receive a discounted price of $540 for everything! You are welcome to take advantage of more than the required two individual sessions and two group sessions should you feel it would help you navigate various cases with your clients and prepare for the certification case conceptualization and recording assessment.

MEET YOUR CERTIFICATION INSTRUCTORS:

Becky Beaton-York, PhD, ACERP, CERP-P

Dr. Becky Beaton-York has specialized in treating Anxiety, Trauma, and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) for over 30 years. She was the Founder of The Anxiety & Stress Management Institute (ASMI), a large specialty treatment facility in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the Co-Founder of OCD Georgia, the state's affiliate of the International Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation (IOCDF).

After selling ASMI, she became the Founder of The Knowledge Tree to help fulfill her passion for teaching and mentoring other therapists. You may have seen her on TLC's "Hoarding: Buried Alive" as the treating psychologist on over 60 episodes. Dr. Beaton-York has also made appearances on The Anderson Cooper Show, Good Morning America, and CNN Headline News. Dr. Beaton-York has been voted Counselor Educator of the Year and received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Licensed Professional Counselor's Association of Georgia. She is also an adjunct professor at Emory University.

Dr. Beaton-York is known for her unusual combination of being extremely knowledgeable & scientific yet down-to-earth & easy to understand while also being playful and humorous. Not only will you learn a ton, you'll have fun doing so.


Patrick McGrath, Ph.D., ACERP, CERP-P

Patrick B. McGrath, Ph.D., is a Licensed Psychologist in Illinois, Michigan, and Missouri. He specializes in the treatment of Anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. To treat these disorders, he utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
Dr. McGrath has given over 800 presentations on the treatment of Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and PTSD at schools, hospitals, private practices, and universities, as well as local, national, and international conferences. He has trained tens of thousands of therapists both nationally and internationally.
Dr. McGrath has supervised well over 50 students through practicum, internship, and postdoctoral fellowships in his career. He is the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed journal articles, and he has also authored a book on OCD (The OCD Answer Book) and a stress management manual (Don’t Try Harder, Try Different).
Dr. McGrath currently serves as the Head of Clinical Services for NOCD, leading their teletherapy services across the United States to help people with OCD. He is also a Lead Psychologist at AMITA Health, where he opened their Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospital, and Residential Treatment Programs for Anxiety Disorders, OCD, and PTSD. He is also the President of Anxiety Centers of Illinois, a private practice group, and a member of the Scientific and Clinical Advisory Boards of the International OCD Foundation. He is a Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies and the President of OCD Midwest.

Jon Hershfield, LMFT, ACERP, CERP-P

Jon Hershfield, MFT, is a psychotherapist and director of The Center for OCD and Anxiety at Sheppard Pratt, which provides evidence-based outpatient care for individuals and families with OCD and related disorders. He also directs the OCD Program at the Retreat, Sheppard Pratt’s private pay residential program. Prior to joining Sheppard Pratt, Jon was Director of The OCD and Anxiety Center of Greater Baltimore, Associate Director of the UCLA Pediatric OCD Intensive Outpatient Program at Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, and psychotherapist at the OCD Center of Los Angeles. He is co-author of The Mindfulness Workbook for OCD and Everyday Mindfulness for OCD and author of When a Family Member Has OCD, Overcoming Harm OCD, and The OCD Workbook for Teens. Jon is a frequent speaker at International OCD Foundation events and webinars and the annual conference of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.


Reid Wilson, Ph.D., ACERP, CERP-P

REID WILSON, PhD, a licensed psychologist who directs the Anxiety Disorders Treatment Center in Chapel Hill, NC. He is author of the newly-released Stopping the Noise in Your Head and the classic self-help book Don't Panic. He is co-author, with Edna Foa, of Stop Obsessing!, as well as Anxious Kids, Anxious Parents and Playing with Anxiety with Lynn Lyons. He designed American Airlines' first national program for the fearful flier and served as the expert on anxiety for WebMD’s Mental Health Community. He is a Founding Clinical Fellow of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA) and Fellow of the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT). In 2014 he received ADAA’s highest award, and he received the 2019 Service Award by the International OCD Foundation. He has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America, CNN, The Katie Show, A&E’s Hoarders, and MTV’s True Life. Ashlenn Von Wiegand, Ph.D., LPC, CPCS, CCH, ACERP, CERP-P, ACERP-S

Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand is the Clinical Director and founder of Liberating Counseling Services, a practice specializing in anxiety disorders, self-harming behaviors, addictions, and behavior change. In her practice, Dr. Von Wiegand and her clinicians provide individual and group therapy for OCD spectrum disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, and addiction for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Von Wiegand is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy (ST) and is a certified clinical hypnotherapist. Dr. Von Wiegand is also the founder of a supervision, consultation, and training venture known as Clinician Collaborative. Through Clinician Collaborative, she provides resources and tools for clinicians seeking to expand their understanding of the modalities in which she specializes. She loves presenting and equipping clinicians with tools and resources to help them thrive in their practice.

Hamilton Von Wiegand, LPC, CSAT, CMAT, CCH, ACERP, CERP-P, ACERP-S

Hamilton Von Wiegand is a professional counselor with a broad range of experience. He has worked in every level of clinical setting (in-home and community-based services, outpatient, PHP, psychiatric inpatient, and long-term residential treatment) with ages from 4 years old to 90 years old. Hamilton currently works in private practice alongside his wife, Dr. Ashlenn Von Wiegand. Hamilton has extensive training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (ST), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP) and is a certified clinical hypnotherapist. In his practice, he specializes in treating addictions and dual diagnosis clients, anxiety and OCD disorders, personality disorders, complex cases, and issues that don't fit into clear diagnostic categories. Hamilton is deeply passionate about understanding the science, research, and philosophy underlying quality therapeutic interventions.
