- Prerequisite & Target Audience: Must hold a current license in good standing as a Psychologist, Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage & Family Therapist, Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, or MD Psychiatrist. Other Mental Health Professionals are also welcome to attend and receive CEs/CEUs but will not receive Certification without being fully licensed in one of the above professions. You must have also completed the Certification in Exposure and Response Prevention (CERP), which can be found HERE.

Jon Hershfield, LMFT, ACERP, CERP-P
Jon Hershfield, MFT, is a psychotherapist and director of The Center for OCD and Anxiety at Sheppard Pratt, which provides evidence-based outpatient care for individuals and families with OCD and related disorders. He also directs the OCD Program at the Retreat, Sheppard Pratt’s private pay residential program. Prior to joining Sheppard Pratt, Jon was Director of The OCD and Anxiety Center of Greater Baltimore, Associate Director of the UCLA Pediatric OCD Intensive Outpatient Program at Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital, and psychotherapist at the OCD Center of Los Angeles. He is co-author of The Mindfulness Workbook for OCD and Everyday Mindfulness for OCD and author of When a Family Member Has OCD, Overcoming Harm OCD, and The OCD Workbook for Teens. Jon is a frequent speaker at International OCD Foundation events and webinars and the annual conference of the Anxiety and Depression Association of America.
Kimberly Quinlan, LMFT, ACERP, CERP-P
KIMBERLEY QUINLAN is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and has a private practice in Calabasas, California, specializing in Anxiety, OCD and related disorders, and Eating Disorders.
Kimberley is the author of The Self-Compassion Workbook for OCD and the host of Your Anxiety Toolkit Podcast. This podcast provides mindfulness-based tools for Anxiety, OCD, Depression, and BFRBs. She is particularly known for the practical skills she provides her 60,000+ followers!!!
Shala Nicely, LPC, ACERP, CERP-P
Shala Nicely, LPC, is the author of Is Fred in the Refrigerator? Taming OCD and Reclaiming My Life , and coauthor of Everyday Mindfulness for OCD: Tips, Tricks & Skills for Living Joyfully with Jon Hershfield, MFT. She is a counselor and cognitive behavioral therapist in metro Atlanta, GA, specializing in the treatment of OCD, anxiety disorders, and the dynamic co-morbidity between trauma/PTSD and OCD. Over the past decade, Shala has given numerous talks on OCD and its treatment at national conferences and was the keynote speaker for the 2013 IOCDF national conference. She sends the Shoulders Back! Tips & Resources for Taming OCD newsletter to thousands of subscribers each month and writes several blogs, including one for Psychology Today that offers an inside perspective on life with OCD. She has also recently finished writing her first mystery novel—featuring a crime-solving protagonist who has OCD—about the true price of secrets we keep from ourselves.
Caitlin Pinciotti, Ph.D., ACERP, CERP-P
Dr. Caitlin Pinciotti is a Licensed Psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Baylor College of Medicine. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a Trauma Psychology focus at Northern Illinois University. Dr. Pinciotti’s research focuses on the assessment, conceptualization, and treatment of OCD, trauma, and PTSD and has a secondary interest in identifying and addressing mental health inequities in the LGBTQIA+ community. Dr. Pinciotti first published about justice-based ERP in 2022 and has since given 15 conference presentations and trainings on the topic. In recognition of her leadership in this domain, she was recently selected for the 2024 Bicentennial Lectureship Award from the Institute of Living at Hartford Hospital, a yearly award recognizing an outstanding early career individual who has demonstrated an impact through innovation, advocacy, and patient-centered mental health care. In total, she has given over 40 conference presentations and published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters.
